Dr. Stephen A. Brunton is an adjunct associate professor at the Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Vallejo, CA. He is also an adjunct clinical professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Roseman University of Health Sciences in Salt Lake City, UT. In addition, Dr. Brunton has a clinical family practice in Glendale, CA, and Downey, CA.

After earning his medical degree at Monash University Medical School in Melbourne, Australia, Dr. Brunton completed a residency in family practice at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center in Long Beach, CA. He is board-certified in family medicine, with a certificate of added qualifications in geriatrics. Dr. Brunton is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, where he has held many positions over the years. He is also a member of the California Academy of Family Physicians, the American Diabetes Association, and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. He serves as editor-in-chief of Clinical Diabetes, the publication of the American Diabetes Association, and of Internal Medicine Alert. He has published numerous articles, chapters, and monographs on family medicine and related topics.
